Quintessence Photographic Art, founded by award-winning photographer Gail Shoop-Lamy, blends Gails love of people with her unique vision and inspiration to produce exquisite portraiture and stunning wedding images.

Gail earned her certificates in Portrait and Wedding Photography and Commercial Photography and currently is President of the Professional Photographers of the Sacramento Valley, (PPSV). She is also a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI), and the Association for Wedding Professionals International (AFWPI). Believing strongly in continuing professional education, Gail regularly attends photography seminars throughout the United States to maintain her technical edge.
